Join us to watch, read, and discuss book adaptations across all genres!
Is the book always better than the movie? Does the movie add something missing from the book? Is TV the best medium for a book adaptation? All these questions and more will be explored as we watch, read, and discuss our favorite stories that made their way from the page to the screen!
Our November meeting will focus on the 2026 film The Sheep Detectives , directed by Kyle Baldo and based on the novel Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann. A special thanks to the Friends of the Library for their support, which makes programs in the Friends Theatre possible.
