About this event
The Home Energy Assistance Program helps very low-income residents with their heating and cooling bills, and makes provisions for emergency heating system services and emergency fuel assistance within the Home Energy Assistance Program. If you have questions about any of New Jersey’s energy assistance programs, or wish to apply, a representative from Elizabethtown Gas will be on site to assist. No appointment required.
For NJ LIHEAP bring proof of identity, residency, and low income (under 200% FPL for LIHEAP, specific bills for USF), with documents like Social Security cards, pay stubs (last 4 weeks), recent utility bills, lease/deed, and photo IDs for all household members, plus a completed application and potentially doctor's notes for cooling.
