Discover Kinusaiga, the captivating Japanese craft often described as "painting with fabric." In this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop, participants will transform colorful fabric scraps into intricate, quilt-like artwork without using a single needle or thread. Students will learn how to transfer a design onto a foam board, score pattern lines with an X-acto blade, and tuck the fabric edges into the slots to create a textured, three-dimensional masterpiece ready to display.
All skill levels welcome, no prior experience necessary. All supplies provided.
Registration Required: Great Neck Library District Residents Only, beginning October 29 at 10 AM, online, in-person, or via phone . Non-residents are welcome as walk-ins, as space allows
