About this event

Join artist-in-residence Jaye Tremille-McNair for the opening of her fall exhibit. As an artist, educator, and curator with a deep focus on textiles, fashion design, and cultural art, McNair’s practice is rooted in honoring heritage while fostering creativity and critical thinking. With more than 15 years of experience teaching, creating, and collaborating with youth and intergenerational communities, her work emphasizes the power of sewing and fiber arts as both cultural preservation and artistic resistance. McNair’s work will be on display in the library community room through the end of October. Check the library calendar for workshop opportunities in September and October.

This program has been made possible by the Philadelphia Funder Collaborative for the Semiquincentennial.
