About this event
In this nine-month series, participants will deepen their civics knowledge by learning how budgets are made, taxes are spent, laws are created, voting is deployed, and how to turn your curiosity into involvement. Classes are held monthly on a Saturday morning, 10:30 - 11:30 a.m., and will be led by guest presenters who have expertise in the subject the area. Participants attending all nine classes will receive a special citation through State Representative Laurie Sweet.
