About this event
Acclaimed marine artist Don Demers presents a live painting demonstration, The Breaking Sea . Beginning with a small sketch, Demers will create a 16" x 24" oil painting depicting waves breaking along a shoreline while narrating his process. He will discuss his practice of working from on-site sketches and studies rather than photographs. This unique program offers a rare opportunity to observe a master painter capturing the power and beauty of the ocean.
