Science Explorers at Riviera Beach - Rockets to the Rescue

About this event

Join us each month as we foster curiosity and wonder about the world around us. This month's theme: Blast off into Discovery The University of Maryland Extension 4-H Youth Development presents a popular, hands-on aerospace engineering initiative originally launched as the national science experiment for 4-H National Youth Science Day. Get ready for a high-flying adventure as we explore how science and engineering can help solve problems! In Rockets to the Rescue, youth will learn about a rescue mission that requires careful observation, problem-solving, and testing. We'll investigate how scientists use the engineering design process to ask questions, make predictions, test ideas, and improve designs. Can you hit the target? Join us to discover how engineers learn from every launch and use evidence to make improvements!
