About this event

This inclusive book club offers a structured, supportive space for adults to enjoy reading. We break books down into manageable weekly chapters to allow plenty of time for reflection. Every week, members meet to discuss the story and build lasting friendships. All reading levels and communication styles are welcome. This program is for adults ages 18 and up with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Aides and support staff are welcome. Join us in October as we continue to read from Ground Zero by Alan Gratz. October 6: Read aloud chapters 6 & 7 with discussion to follow. October 13: Read aloud chapters 8 & 9 with discussion to follow. October 20: Read aloud chapters 10 & 11 with discussion to follow. October 20: Read aloud chapters 12 & 13 with discussion to follow.
