About this event

Twice a month, learn something new about a fascinating science topic chosen and presented by one of our very own DHS Science Honor Society students. This session includes a presentation on "The Science Behind Eating" and "Light Refraction" About the Presenters Hi! My name is Charlotte Lane and I am a Senior at Darien High School. I currently in Honors Physics and last year I was lucky enough to take AP Biology and Neuroscience. My plan for when I graduate is to study Psychology in college and then get my PhD in Psychology. My presentation connects to my love of psychology and neuroscience as I explain the true science behind eating. Hi. My name is James Ozanne and I am a Senior at Darien High School. I'm a physics-sided STEM student who's taken mechanic and electric physics at the highschool. In my free time I make various electronic projects and I plan on majoring in physics or engineering after high school. After reading "Story of Your Life" by Ted Chiang, I became interested in the idea of light refraction and I hope to interest you all with some of my research.
