OFFSITE: 10th Annual Vital Aging Fair

About this event

PLEASE NOTE: This event is being held offsite at the Scarsdale Congregational Church. It is not taking place at the library. Seniors, looking for a fun filled and informative way to spend an autumn Thursday? Join us for our 10th annual Vital Aging Fair! Vendors and organizations of interest to seniors will be available from 11 am to 12:30 pm, a light lunch will be provided courtesy of Sunrise of Scarsdale at 12:45 pm, and we are excited to share that local singer Yara Hoppenstein will join us once again during lunch. A diverse performer, Yara enjoys singing songs from days gone by. At this event her performance will feature a mixture of songs from the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Scarsdale Library and is made possible through a partnership between the Scarsdale Public Library, Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Aging in Place, and the Village of Scarsdale Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department. Participating organizations this year include, but are not limited to: Sunrise of Scarsdale, 123Organize, Fox Rehab, The Key Homecare, Senior Living Consultants NY, UJA Social Rx, and elder law attorney Eileen Donovan.
