About this event

Please join us for the next session in our newly launched AI discussion series. In this session, we'll explore the promise and potential pitfalls of AI, asking how it is changing our lives, what we stand to gain or lose, and how we navigate through an increasingly AI-dependent world. AI is no longer something we can simply choose to adopt or ignore. It is increasingly embedded in services, decisions and devices we encounter every day - sometimes without our knowledge or consent. From customer service chatbots and personalized recommendations to healthcare, insurance decisions, and emerging AI assistants and robots How do we live with AI, how much control do we have over it, and what happens when it make decisions that affects us? These technologies offer exciting possibilities for greater convenience but also raise questions about privacy, fairness, accountability. We'll be distributing some materials in advance of the session to help us all prepare for a fascinating discussion. Registration required. Register online or call 203-762-6334.
