About this event

Join us on the first Sunday of each month for an informal, welcoming gathering where we listen, laugh, remember, and share. Come tell a story of your own, or simply come hear the stories of others.

Come Share a Story!

Storytelling with a twist!

Everyone has a story—and some of the most interesting ones are hiding in plain sight.

Join us on the first Sunday of each month for an informal, welcoming gathering where we listen, laugh, remember, and share. Come tell a story of your own, or simply come hear the stories of others.

We’ll talk about history, fascinating people, memorable moments, local characters, unusual experiences, and the interesting lives we’ve lived. Your story might be funny, surprising, touching, quirky, or just something you’ve always wanted to tell.

Think of it as an amateur story slam without the competition—a place where ordinary people can share extraordinary (or wonderfully ordinary!) stories.

Have a story to share? Bring it!

Prefer to listen? Come on in!

You never know what you’ll hear—or what story you might remember along the way.

Come connect. Come listen. Come tell your story.

This is a safe space, all abilities are welcome. If you have any questions, please call Alachua Branch Library at (386) 462-2592.
