For the first time, Coral Gables Museum , in collaboration with the Mexican Cultural Institute in Miami , presents a traditional Día de Muertos altar honoring Octavio Paz, one of Latin America’s most influential literary figures and a Nobel Prize in Literature recipient . Created by Mexican artists Karla Kantorovich and Monica Czukerberg, Una ofrenda a la memoria de Octavio Paz reimagines the traditional altar as a space where poetry, art, and ancestral rituals come together to explore our relationship with life, death, and remembrance.
