Learn how to work the room, make a great first impression and get the follow-up from potential employers in this hands-on workshop.
Strengthen the skills you need to stand out at a job fair. Learn how to research employers, prepare an elevator pitch, approach recruiters, ask effective questions, dress appropriately, bring the right materials and follow up after the event, then practice what you’ve learned. Instruction provided by workforce development experts at Hunger Free America. Laptops are provided, but feel free to bring your own device if you prefer. Registration encouraged; walk-ins welcome as space allows.
