About this event
The Carroll County Veteran Services Program employs accredited Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) who assist veterans, service members, and their families in understanding and applying for the benefits they have earned. VSOs provide knowledgeable, in-person support to eligible veterans, dependents, and survivors seeking benefits from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the State of Maryland, and other veteran-serving programs. Our VSOs ensure the application process is conducted clearly, accurately, and with appropriate support. Regarding benefits eligibility, please bring your form DD214 to this appointment. During the appointment, eligibility for various VA programs such as, but not limited to, VA healthcare, cemetery and burial, and disability compensations and pensions will be explored.
