Preparing for Parenthood: Body, Baby, and Breastfeeding

This is a free educational event for expecting moms and their partners. Julie Tarlow, occupational therapist and pelvic floor specialist, will discuss pregnancy considerations related to maternal pelvic floor and physical health as well as postpartum recovery following vaginal or cesarean birth. Dr. Rachel Mills, pediatric occupational therapist and certified infant massage instructor, will offer education on infant development and bonding, including infant massage. Kara Evans, RN, IBCLC, will provide education onbreastfeeding and pumping.Mothers with young babies who have already been born are welcome to attend as well. Each provider will be available to answer questions about their respective specialty areas.
