About this event
Beneath the ocean's surface lies a fascinating world filled with colorful marine life, graceful sea creatures, and breathtaking underwater scenery. Why not learn how to draw them, along with various effects that moving water creates: rays of sunlight, ripples, bubbles, patterns on the sand? Whether you choose to draw jellyfish, or an octopus or seahorses, coral or shells, we'll discuss best drawing techniques for your individual choice of scene. Materials: • 9" X 12" or larger pad of Canson Mixed Media paper • Set of Colored Pencils (watercolor pencils are better, but wax-based pencils are fine) • graphite pencil (mechanical is best) for light sketching • white eraser • hand-held sharpener This is a six-session class. Register for the first one on 9/18 and you'll be signed up for all.
