About this event

Presented by Everly Endicott, Turtle Rescue League of Massachusetts, and sponsored by The Friends of Horn Pond

Learn about the native turtle species that live at Horn Pond. We'll cover their natural history, the threats they face, and how to support your local species. We will share the story of our first visit to the Woburn Community Gardens at Horn Pond, the hope turtles bring, and common myths we encounter. This program will include some of our educational turtles and is open to wildlife and nature enthusiasts of all ages.

Program will feature live educational turtles. Open to all ages.

About the Turtle Rescue League

Turtle Rescue League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2010. Our mission is to keep turtles a part of the future, not a thing of the past. We are one of New England's largest native turtle rescues, with programs that focus on rehabilitation, incubation, conservation, and education. We believe all turtles deserve a second chance at life.
