NCDOT crews are making significant progress toward reopening N.C. Highway 12 near the Pea Island Visitor Center. Their goal is to reopen the highway by noon on Friday, Oct. 30 using a one-lane detour. Traffic would be controlled by flaggers or an automated flagging system.
