Leaf it to the Weather

About this event
Why do leaves turn red, orange, and yellow when the weather gets chilly? Join us in the MakerSpace to find out! Kids will chat about how fall weather changes the world around us, try a "hidden colors" activity that reveals the secret colors inside a leaf, and then create their own layered fall collage using real pressed leaves, tissue paper, cotton "wind," and more. Every child goes home with a one-of-a-kind seasonal masterpiece and a fun leaf activity to try as a family.
All materials provided. Wear clothes that can handle a little glue!
