Emergency Kit/Protocol 101

About this event

Do you know what to do in an emergency? Being prepared for an emergency should be step one of any trip. Knowledge of proper emergency protocol and a fully stocked emergency kit can save lives. Join Auggie Smith, a ranger from Hard Labor Creek State Park, to learn proper emergency protocol on trails and what you should have in your emergency kits. This program focuses primarily on emergency kit/protocol on trails, but most of the information is applicable to day-to-day emergencies. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
