About this event
For adults.
Do you like to read with expression and listen to stories? Come join volunteers from The Arc of Hanover and the Ashland Branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library for Reader's Theater sessions designed specifically for members of the intellectually and developmentally disabled community. In this fun and low-pressure activity, participants will take turns reading aloud from scripts and using their voices to bring the characters to life. No need to memorize lines or worry about staging or costumes. Reader's Theater is designed to be an opportunity to meet new friends while practicing reading in a fun activity.
