About this event
York County Library, in partnership with Piedmont Music Therapy, will offer an inclusive music therapy program for children with varying abilities. Therapist-led sessions will use music, movement, and creative expression to strengthen early literacy skills. Through singing, rhythm, instruments, and collaborative activities, participants will build language skills, confidence, communication, and lifelong learning in an accessible, supportive environment. For ages 3-5 and their guardians. Limit 20. Register online or call 803-547-4114, starting November 3. This program aligns with YCL’s family literacy framework, which addresses the ability to incorporate whole families into activities between parent and child in order to build formative development skills.
