Reflections of Hope with Author David Bannon

About this event

Enjoy an afternoon chat with David at the Fort Mill Public Library as he discusses his new book, A Hope Observed. In this book, Bannon explores grief through the stories of mourners across centuries, revealing how ordinary people, poets, parents, and people of faith found ways to live with loss. Blending memoir, history, and reflection, David wishes to provide companionship, hope, and help to those navigating bereavement during the holidays through this event. There will be a Q&A session as well as an opportunity to chat with David as he signs copies of his books, which will be available for sale. Bannon also authored Wounded in Spirit: Advent Art and Meditations (2018) and Songs on the Death of Children (2022). Advance registration is recommended.
