About this event

"No Country for Mothers" Watch Party & Community Discussion Motherhood in America shouldn't feel like an impossible task. It’s time to stop judging each other and start fixing the system. Join us for a special screening and community discussion of No Country for Mothers, a groundbreaking new documentary that pulls back the curtain on the impossible standards and lack of structural support for American families. No Country for Mothers explores the culture wars surrounding American motherhood and why both the "girl boss" and "trad wife" labels ultimately distract us from the real issue: the lack of support for American families. Following activist Reshma Saujani, the film charts a growing national movement to reunite moms across divisions and win the kind of historic support families actually need. Whether you're a working mom, a stay-at-home mom, a partner, or an ally, this is a space to drop the labels, share your real experiences, and learn how we can push for the childcare, paid leave, and support we actually deserve. What to Expect: - Meet & Mingle: Connect with local parents, advocates, and friends over food and drinks before the movie begins. - The Screening: Watch the eye-opening 79-minute documentary together. - The Conversation: A raw, judgment-free discussion after the film about our own experiences with burnout, the childcare crisis, and how we can take action together as part of the Moms First movement.
