About this event

Whether you're launching a business, making career changes, or simply hungry for lifelong learning, this book club is for you! Each session, we talk through the main take-aways from the book and how to apply them in our own projects. Whether you read deeply or skim, you'll leave with tools and strategies that can support you in work and in life.

We meet virtually every 1st Tuesday of the month at 6 pm.

November Theme: Financial well-being

Book: Feel-Good Finance by Aja Evans

Aja Evans is a psychologist who focuses on helping people heal their relationship with money in order to better support their personal finances. If you're an entrepreneur, a guardian, or share finances with another person, how you think about money will massively influence the wellbeing of those projects, relationships, and the futures of everyone involved. This book helps you identify your patterns around and attitudes about money, then determine if you want to keep those. And if you want to make changes, this book can help you get there.

Availability: To borrow the book from BPL, see the title linked above. If the BPL is out of copies, check out these instructions for borrowing digital copies from other libraries in Massachusetts!

Topics: Entrepreneurship, leadership, finance, communication, and decision-making psychology.

Audience: Open to entrepreneurs, professionals, students, career changers, and lifelong learners alike. All are welcome.

Book Club attendees vote on which books from this booklist (or more!) they want to read next.
