Exhibit: Art and Artifact

About this event

This exhibit showcases both the artwork in New Rochelle Public Library's archival art and Illustration Collection as well as the artwork on display throughout the library building. Our objective is twofold: to appreciate and understand original works of art, and to show how these are considered and protected as archival artifacts. Types of artwork include: oil paintings, watercolors, lithographs, posters, marble sculpture, commercial art, cartoons, animation cels, folk art, pencil sketches, and more.
