About this event
Even if your family ancestors did not serve in the military, they may have had to register. And if they did serve, there are even more records available to you. This workshop will teach you what types of records exist to help you find military service or registration records. Once you know that an ancestor served, you will learn where to find those records. Records were kept back as far as the Revolutionary War, so odds are you will find something. Not everything is online, but a lot is available to you with the touch of a button. If it is not online, you will learn how to get those records from the National Archives. With Genealogist Eileen Swanberg.
