Zoomorphic Pinch Pots

About this event

This program is a perfect blend of culture, art, wildlife and music. Each participant will learn about basic ceramic techniques while creating a personalized clay pinch pot into the form of their favorite animals. Pinch pots were one of the most basic forms of Native ceramics decorated with symbols and designs to share stories. Environmental artist and educator Tony Valderrama will lead this workshop.
