Poetry and Jazz

About this event

Autumn brings abundance, reflection, and comfort as we gather the fruits of our work and prepare for colder months to come. Poetry and jazz both inspire us to flexibility, empathy, and awe as we move through the seasons of life. The Scarsdale Public Library and the Hoff-Barthelson Music School invite you to a Sunday afternoon of poetry and jazz. Come listen to poetry and songs that are playful and joyous, that challenge and uplift us, that are abundant and generous. In times of plenty and times of trial, we are sustained by the same, unchanging supports: family, kindness, and gratitude. The event will showcase local Scarsdale poets and the Hoff-Bathelson Music School Adult Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Ed Palermo. Light refreshments will be served.
