Save a life this year! Stop by the Scott Room to donate blood with the New York Blood Center. One in three people will need a blood transfusion during their lives. Blood can only be stored for 42 days, so there is a continuous need for the generosity of you and your community. Donating is easier than you might think. The actual time for the blood donation procedure is only about 15 minutes. Most eligible donors will immediately resume normal activity after having a snack. Please plan on about 45 minutes from check-in to post-donation monitoring. Walk-ins are possible, but we strongly recommend registering to ensure a timeslot that is convenient for you.
