About this event
Please join us on Friday, October 30th, at 7:00pm for the next entry in Wilton Library's Not Your Quiet Library Night series, featuring a screening of the acclaimed cult classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). There will be light snacks and refreshments provided. Not Your Quiet Library Night is a new event series geared toward adults in the 20-30s age range to create a space to socialize and meet new friends at the library. There is no charge for this program. Registration is requested; walk-ins are welcome as long as we do not hit capacity. All attendees must be 21+. Starring Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, and Barry Bostwick, and based on the original play by Richard O'Brien, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) was critically panned upon release. However, it soon gained a cult following through midnight showings, where audience participation and shadow casts steadily grew its popularity. Now, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) has the longest theatrical run in film history at 51 years and counting. For this showing, we kindly request that attendees do not bring food or water props, but we encourage attendees to come in costume and shout out their favorite call backs.
